How it works

  1. Call and tell us the make, model, year and where the car is.
  2. A technician drives to you and checks that you own or are authorized to use the vehicle, usually with ID and registration.
  3. The door is opened with a vehicle-safe tool, and we test that it locks and unlocks normally.
  4. If you also need a spare or replacement key, we can make one on the spot.

Child or pet locked inside

If a child or animal is locked in the car, call 911 first. Emergency crews can open the car immediately, and heat builds quickly.

Why not roadside assistance?

Roadside plans are great if they can reach you quickly. We are a direct option when you do not have a plan, or when the wait is long, and we can cut a new key if yours is lost, which tow trucks cannot do.
